The idea for Bluegrass Country Labradoodles was born after the loss of our twelve-year-old Yorkie, Sophie. Sophie was our girl, my children adored her cuddles and sweetness.
While we loved our Sophie girl, it was time for our next furry family member. Taking into consideration that both my children have allergies, but LOVE doodles, I started my research. After finding that most Labradoodles have an odor and lots of shedding, that in return can cause asthma and allergy issues, I discovered Swinging Gate Labradoodles in Advance, NC. I contacted owner Jenny Blume, and soon made my way to the East Coast. It wasn’t long before my desire to obtain a new puppy turned into a yearning to bring this incredible breed to the Eastern part of Kentucky.
A great deal of effort goes into locating and ultimately breeding our dogs. We take into consideration multiple components such as the dog’s body structure, pedigree, and temperament when researching potential additions to our growing family. It is our hope that the puppies we are fortunate enough to birth and raise in our home, reflect the awareness taken in selecting our breeding stock. We believe that happy healthy dogs produce happy healthy puppies!
From the moment of birth, each puppy lives as a member of our family. We utilize training techniques with each of them prior to departing for their new homes. Our puppies are hand raised to ensure that once adopted, they will effortlessly assimilate into your own family.
Bluegrass Country Labradoodles is dedicated to researching and carefully selecting our breeding stock for the highest physical qualities and exceptional temperament. It is our distinct pleasure to provide you and your family with an Australian Labradoodle puppy of the highest quality.
Our multi-generational Australian Labradoodles are bred from parents out of Tegan Park and/or Rutland Manor Research Centers in Australia. Staying true to the vision of those who founded this incredible breed is an important component of our breeding philosophy. We are proud to be name a WALA Star Breeder for 2023-24!
